To be an editor of a car enthusiast magazine he subscribed to for a long time is something of a dream job for Tecumseh resident Roger Hart, but it's a role he's served in for nearly a decade now.

Police say Bobby Black and a police officer went into the smoke-filled home in the Lenawee County city of Morenci about 3:45 a.m. Wednesday.

Family and friends are mourning the loss of a Lenawee County father and son who died in an early morning fire on Wednesday.

Two people have died in a house fire in Morenci on the 400 block of Pearl St. One of the victims was a 12-year-old boy; the other was his father.

Morenci -- Authorities say a neighbor rushed into a burning house in southeastern Michigan, rescuing a 1-year-old child from a fire that killed a man and his 12-year-old son.

Authorities have identified the man whose body was found north of this Lenawee County community as John Curtis Tifft, 51, of Camden, Mich., Michigan State Police said.

The death of a 50-year-old white male found north of Morenci on Friday appears to be accidental, although an investigation is continuing, a trooper with Michigan State Police Adrian post said Saturday.
