The public is invited to attend the Dearborn County Historical Society annual meeting at Carnegie Hall in Moores Hill at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, May 2. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, Carnegie Hall is the last remaining major building from the former Moores Hill College, founded in 1854 as the Moores Hill Male and Female College.

A payment of $2,300 to Hrezo Engineering will be credited as part of Moores Hill's match for a grant funding demolition of a condemned building, said Moores Hill Clerk-treasurer Guinevere Emery.

A derelict building was being demolished in Moores Hill around noon Monday, April 1, five days after it partially collapsed.

Slated for demolition, the three-story Brown building in Moores Hill collapsed between 9 p.m. and 10 p.m. Wednesday, March 27, said town clerk-treasurer Guinevere Emery.
