Flooding backs off

Flooding slowing traffic on U.S. 30 Expressway west of Toledo
Flooding from the Iowa River has been reported slowing the flow of traffic on the U.S. Highway 30 Expressway near the Iowa River bridge about six miles west of Toledo or two miles north of Montour.

USS Polaris, Upah Tax-Bookkeeping: "we're staying"
"We've had pretty incredible support," said Stan Upah, who with his wife, Charlotte, owns USS?Polaris, the Toledo business devastated by fire on Friday, June 20. He was at the Toledo City Council meeting on Monday night, June 23, to express his gratitude to the fire departments and others in the community who had come to their aid.

Tuesday morning, June 17, the Tama County Board of Supervisors approved Law Enforcement contracts between Tama County and the towns of Dysart, Clutier, Chelsea, Elberon, Garwin, Gladbrook, Montour, Traer and Lincoln.
