Last Friday, February 28, a residence on Flamingo Drive in Turtle Cove was burglarized, according to information received from the Jasper County Sheriff's Office .

City Discusses Utilities Credit Policy, Speed Bumps, Probation Service
The Monticello City Council discussed the utilities credit policy, speed bumps and probation services at their meeting Thursday and it was clear that they were not one united body on any of the aforementioned issues.
Warrant Taken for Robbery Suspect
An arrest warrant, based on evidence provided by the Monticello Police Department , was issued Monday, Feb. 24, for Michael Drake Smith of a Hillsboro address, charging him with robbery.
