H2O Innovation acquires Wastewater Technology of Virginia for US$2.7M
- H2O Innovation (2000) Inc. (TSXV:HEO) said Friday its H2O Innovation USA Inc. unit is buying Wastewater Technology Inc. of Monterey, Va., for US$2.7 million in cash.
Wastewater Technology owns patented treatment techniques including a membrane bioreactor, and has installed 70 systems in the United States, eastern Europe and China for the municipal, commercial and industrial sectors. Its annual sales are about $2.6 million.
The corporate combination pools H2O Innovation's expertise in membrane processes with Wastewater Technology's expertise in wastewater treatment, and will strengthen the H2O salesforce in the U.S., the Quebec company said. Read more
