DA, so how is the food? You usually actually review the place. Are you descending to the "quality" of the typical IEDB article?

Reading this article was as painful as listening to Huell Howser stumble through so many of his lousy interviews.

David "Where there's smoke there's BBQ in Chino"
My wife read this before I took her to Marie to do her hair, as she does each Friday. As we turned on to central she saw a sign "Phillips BBQ". She told me about what your wrote. I then read the article as well. We put off lunch until about 3PM. While we were there eating, 5 or 6 couples came in. People who read you must be as friendly as I am, we all talked to each other. We all had read the article. Thanks, as the ribs are great. Chuck Sanchez South West Ontario

The other places are kind of pricey. If this place has good food and good prices, they will do well.

After reading this article, I did stop by Friday and just tried their shredded pork sandwich. Not really knowing what "Louisiana" style, I did want to try it. It was okay, but I guess I prefer a sweet BBQ sauce (& a choice of spicy like one of Lucille's). I do hope the people who wanted them to open out this way will patronize this place. It just wasn't my preference. Good luck to Phillips!

After reading the article, and remembering a Costco employee had previously mentioned it to me, I went there last Friday. Tried the Pork ribs sandwich with side of cole slaw(on the menu as sandwich BUT REALLY A LUNCH). Really liked the ribs which were surprisingly meaty but the cole slaw was mediocre. Still it was good stuff. Several other folks came in and at one time the line streched to 10-12 people, many talking about reading about it in the Bulletin.
Came back Saturday, with my wife, and ordered the
same and my wife ordered the shredded pork sandwich. She liked what she order and I was also completely satisfied with my order. Place was jammed packed with folks, most citing the Bulletin review. I'LL BE BACK!!!!!!!

Daily Horoscope for December 23

Scorpio

Be careful how you handle a certain someone today because their mood is little short of incendiary. They'll jump down your throat if you dare to disagree with them, and then accuse you of being a wimp if you decide that it would be better to agree with everything they say. You can't win! If they really get on your wick, you'll have to give them a piece of your mind, even if it is supposed to be the season of goodwill to all men. Huh!
