Cops save man, help woman give birth on the George Washington Bridge
Port Authority Police Officer Steve Pisciotta, an unidentified EMS worker and PA Police Officer Laverne Watson helped deliver a baby girl in a taxi near the George Washington Bridge on September 13. Port Authority cops working on the George Washington Bridge helped a pregnant woman give birth to a baby in a taxi and saved a man from leaping to his death all within a busy couple hours Saturday morning. The woman and her husband were taking a cab from their home in Monroe, N.Y., to Manhattan when she was overwhelmed with labor pains.
