Ground breaks on community project at Aliso Viejo Ranch

A series of shovel strikes on Thursday, Nov. 15, at the Aliso Viejo Ranch marked the end of more than a decade of uncertainty and the start of a project bringing both community space and historic preservation to the storied lot. Mayor Dave Harrington, Mayor Pro Tem Ross Chun, Councilmen Mike Munzing and Bill Phillips and City Manager Dave Doyle joined officials, residents and other city partners to celebrate the long-awaited project coming to fruition.
