Local pet lovers get a day to pamper their furry friends
The heat didn't keep away some 500 people and their pets who turned out Saturday, Aug. 4 for the Furry Friends Pet Vaccination and Vendor Fair at the Aliso Viejo Center. Kelly Tokarski, a spokesperson for the city, said about 60 pets were vaccinated during the event, which also included such services as microchipping, physical exams, diagnostic testing, heart-worm prevention, flea and tick control, nail trimming and more.
