A Miramar Beach man wanted on charges of aggravated battery, aggravated assault and false imprisonment in Walton County took his own life early this morning following an approximate six hour stand-off with the Okaloosa County Sheriff's Office.

A 38-year-old man from Miramar Beach was killed after he was thrown from his Jeep Wrangler on U.S. Highway 98 shortly after midnight Sunday.
