Cargill sues Syngenta Seeds over lost Chinese corn sales
Cargill Friday sued Syngenta Seeds, blaming it for lost exports to China after the seed company sold a genetically modified corn variety that the Chinese haven't yet approved. For the past nine months, China has been rejecting corn shipments from the United States, "virtually halting U.S. corn trade with China," Cargill said Friday.
