Wegman's center cited for dirty eggs
More than 400 dozen eggs to be distributed from a Wegmans center near Minersville weren't all they were cracked up to be, authorities say.
Although Wegmans may have to shell out some money for a fine, it'll be chicken feed. The company could be fined from $25 to $300, said state Department of Agriculture spokesman Chris Ryder.
The eggs were labeled as Grade A, but a Department of Agriculture inspector found they had too much fecal matter on them to meet the requirements for that level, Ryder said. Read more

Who the F eats the shells anyway..Should have sold them as "organic" eggs , the organic nuts would have bought them up as the fecal matter is organic as well, nothing like a little chicken $ H ! T on my eggs.. What a joke

Please, next time read the WHOLE article - it clearly states the following, "Dirty eggs can pose safety risks, he said. When eggs are cracked open, the contents can be exposed to contamination." |

And after cracking these fecal eggs open, you would probably pick up a piece of bread to toast, then touch your plate and silver wear w/o washing your hands, then have the crap on your bread. I know I don't wash my hands between cracking the egg and making my toast. Yuck!
