wharton school well i think you need to get a new staff because so the teacher can help are chilren stead of sinding homework home and the kids was not explain how to do it

I agree about the homework but my concern is the teacher that does drugs and we still let her teach our young children. I think the Board needs to really look at this more closely

Well, My little sister attends Wharton School. Yes the do send homework home and they really do not tell them how to do it. But, isn't it your job as parents/older siblings to help the child do it at home? Plus how do you know that they don't teach them and the children just do not pay attention. As far as the drugs..I do not know anything about that. Which teacher is doing drugs? If you are so concern why not call the board yourself instead of complaining about it on this site?

My child goes to Wharton, I agree with some of what your saying my child don't understand have of what they teach and I have spoke to them at the school about the way they teach our children .I was told they have new methods they said we did multiplication problems by memory and I did graduate but i know what 15 times 3 is 45 and my 5th grade can't even tell me what 3 times 4 is without looking at some retarded boxes on a piece of paper it really sad. I have try to make my child write her time tables everyday so she can pass math I have set here 3 hours a day just helping her and I never graduate from high school but I can read write and do math without a problem. Punctuation is a different story.

Read some of thier posts carefully. Do you think these parents could really help thier kids do homework?. lol.

theres news in the van/wharton area? lol they should just level that place.

i think wharton grade sucks and the teachers to i think they need to go back to school so they can do there job because some of those teacher go to these bars and whore aroud and come to school on a hang over they need drug tested once a month its a shame are kids got teachers like that i no for a fact that they dont help are children they have teacher aids trying to teach are kids or anything they get by with i hope how soon they close the door

i dont know why you want to put wharton school downbut my kids went there and they love all the teachers had no problem with them. you want to talk about school then said something about van high. thats the worse school in boone countyt hey let alot of bully going on and they pick on certain kids,if you dont fit in the crowd you arent no body there.

I don't know about now but 8-9 years ago, I worked at Wharton Medical Center, beside the school and I was so impressed with how the teachers interacting with the students when they were outside. I can remember one day in particular. I was on lunch break and sitting outside watching the teachers and students making apple butter in big vats, stirring and laughing. I know it has been awhile and things change but I was envious that my child didn't go to school there. I met some of the greatest people from Wharton and some have left memorable impressions on my heart. Great little community then. I hope it is still that way.

Well i can definitly say that no one picks on anyone at Van && everyone fits in. So leave this school out of your bull-crap
