Douglas deputies ID 2 dead amid plane wreckage in Northern Nevada

<![CDATA[MINDEN, Nev. (AP) -- Douglas County deputies say the two bodies found in plane crash wreckage last week belong to a 30-year-old Reno pilot and his 21-year-old girlfriend from Gardnerville. Authorities say Cory Paul Marble and Brittney Calane Hocking-Cangemi were found dead Thursday in the mountains about 20 miles southeast of the Minden-Tahoe Airport. Officials say their Cessna 182 departed from the North Las Vegas Airport about 6 p.m. on April 14, but never arrived at its northern Nevada destination. Marble's mother, Kay Lynn Marble, said her son was returning from a weekend business trip in southern Nevada when he vanished. The disappearance touched off an extensive search that lasted four days. Cory Marble worked as a professional pilot with an air ambulance company.
