Reaction to suspension: 'No special privileges'
Several local residents patronizing Turkey Hill Minit Market Friday morning described the alleged prank gone awry for four Mount Carmel Township officers that resulted in their indefinite suspensions as silliness, stupidity and unprofessional. "I have nothing against cops, but I think the officers took a small joke and pushed it to the limit," commented a Locust Gap man.
Ohio woman recovering after rock dropped on car
A teacher who was critically injured when a rock was dropped on her family's car from a Pennsylvania overpass has made 'amazing' strides, her husband said. Sharon Budd, from Ohio, is taking steps, talking in short sentences, eating soft foods and writing and drawing, said Randy Budd.
