Pike County will see nearly $60 million worth of road improvements according to the recently released Illinois Department of Transportation's six-year plan.

The Pike County Economic Development Corporation annual meeting was held Thursday evening, April 4, at the Farm Bureau hall in Pittsfield.

Detroit Christian Church will hold its monthly Gospel Gig April 6 at 6:30 p.m. Some of those performing will be Ashlie Scott, Proclaim Quartet, Lynn Rutledge, Ron Senters, Bill Lewis, The Peeks and Keith Jones.
