New Athens man killed in accident in rural Millstadt; Wood River man killed in separate crash

A New Athens man was killed early Wednesday when the vehicle he was driving left the road and overturned in rural Millstadt.

News Democrat needs to look into this one.The N.A. officer on duty had no schooling,no experience and no clue...Was not allowed to arrest him,again no clue on what to do ,called another inept officer at home G.S..Dumped him off at a tavern after a domestic,the guy got drunk,left the bar broke into a garage,stole a car and was killed in Millstadt.IDIOTS ON THE LOOSE IN NEW ATHENS.......THE BEST PART,A COUPLE OF THE OFFICERS WENT BACK AND SANITIZED ALL THE LOGS.

Sounds like you need to contact the States Attorney and present the facts. You had betetr have proof of your facts or you might end up on the wrong side of it all.
It sounds complicated but if it's how you say it is, it needs to be reported.

The story is straight. I personally spoke with two of the NA officers about it. The only mis information is that it wasn't a garge but a business. GS was so ill prepared and unable to make contact with his supervisors that he began calling former officers from NA for thier advise. LUckily his superior was able to "fix" the situation in time.
