CRUMPTON , Md.- The Maryland State Fire Marshal's Office is investigating an early Sunday morning fire that caused thousands of dollars in damage to a home in Crumpton.

PARSONSBURG -- Helen V. Smith, 87, of Parsonsburg died Monday, Sept. 28, 2009, at Anchorage Nursing Home.

The family of the truck driver who died after his rig plunged into the Chesapeake Bay following a crash on the Bay Bridge last year has filed a $7 million lawsuit against the teenager responsible.

SALISBURY -- A 19-year-old woman involved in a fatal crash that killed a Willards truck driver is accused of drinking and driving the night of the collision in a $7 million civil lawsuit filed by family members.

Investigators say they have a pretty good idea of what caused a tractor-trailer to plunge into the Chesapeake Bay early Sunday morning, but there's not much they can do to keep it from happening again.
