Tehama County residential burns to cease May 20
Residential burning in unincorporated areas of Tehama County will be suspended beginning Monday, May 20.
Panther Fire Now at 70 Percent Containment
The fire burning nearly 7,000 acres in the rural Butte Meadows of Tehama County is now 70 percent contained.

But progress was made on the Panther Fire, northwest of Butte Meadows Saturday. As of 6:45 p.m., the fire was 40 percent contained and at 6,894 acres.
