Phase one of a three-phase asphalt resurfacing project will begin today at the K7 74/KY 2079 intersection along Cumberland Avenue in Middlesboro, closing the intersection at 3 p.m. through Aug. 7. Work will proceed on a 24/7 schedule until completion due to a asphalt resurfacing operation.
