Some job seekers are finding work

September was better news for the jobless in Bell County. Kentucky Labor Force Estimates reported nearly a full point drop in unemployment, from 13.3 percent August to 12.5 percent in September.

Bell County Circuit Court hands down sentences

PINEVILLE a ' Bell Circuit Court recently handed down several sentencings. David Joseph Poppiti, 19, of New Castle, Deleware, was found guilty of murder, a Capital Offense, and first degree fleeing or evading police, a Class D felony.
