3 acquitted in beating death at central Pa. party
A central Pennsylvania jury has acquitted three men charged in the fatal beating of a man during a party in July 1997, but the district attorney says the case remains "closed" and that nobody else will be charged.

On April 19, Patrick M. Oberlin, 53, of Middleburg, sustained injuries after negotiating a left curve on Wallis Run Road just east of Southard Road shortly before 12:30 a.m. Oberlin's vehicle struck a tree then rolled onto the passenger side, Trooper Adam Kirk said.
