PRPA:Wind turbine parts breaking too early

“We have been getting (proposals) in from companies to build our next project and the quoted prices are higher than we expected”

Some components on Vestas Wind Systems-manufactured wind turbines at Platte River Power Authority's Medicine Bow Wind Project are failing more than 15 years earlier than expected, according to PRPA. via Fort Collins Coloradoan
