In a concession to view-conscious neighbors, Clark Public Utilities has agreed to cut by more than half the height of a second water tower atop the Mount Vista neighborhood near Washington State University Vancouver.
Classes starts at new Adventist school
Summer vacation ended today for about 100 students who reported for the first day of classes at the area's newest high school building.
School razed; replacement nearly ready
The old Columbia Adventist Academy school is demolished Wednesday. Finishing touches on the new classroom building, constructed nearby, will be done when students arrive in August.
