Why should our tax dollars go to bail out private property owners?

Only a pinhead would move onto property that is and has been obviously been eroding for many years.

This job is about 10 years too late. The $7.5 million dollars Caltrans spent to put rock on the slope below the vista point should have been placed down at the historical mouth of the Mad. But the US Army Corps of Engineers, the California Coastal Comission, and other bureaucratic regulatory agencies screwed the County and the homeowners who now have clift front properties. Folks the terrorist are not only in Afghanistan.

The purchase of real property is an "INVESTMENT" all investments are subject to gain in value or they will lose value.

The way I see it is these folks (unflortunaly) made an un-wise investment due to the possiblity of further erosion of the ground beneath them, and the subsequent lose of the "IVESTMENT"

It is a sign of the times with these wacked out notions that government monies(yours and mine taxes) will "take care" of everyone regardless of there actions and associated risks.

Stop this ludacressy by voting for a conservative candidate this November in all elections.

This will send a message to Sacramento and Washington D.C.

PS; My stock investments are down, whos going to bales my dumb ass out?

this bluff has been eroding for millenium. It is a waste of money to try a stop a natural process. The site is in the up-thrown block of a active thrust fault. It is supposed to be eroding. I predict an eyesore and failure.
