Lindsey Baum and the Intersection of Predators, Preteens, and Secrets

According to a source, it was still light out at this time of night. But it still is nighttime and a little 10 year old girl shouldn't walk home alone at this hour, especially since it doesn't sound like she was in a subdivision, she had to pass by a gas station. I wonder if Lindsey's mom knew that her daughter was on her way home? I dont' know but for me, as a parent and an adult, I could never just send a child out the door at 9 o'clock and assume they make it home. I feel parents/adults, are responsible not the child. She is only 10, she can't defend herself. The girl should have been accompanied home by an adult or her mom should have met her half way, something.

By the way, this girl was allowed to have a MySpace acct yet all I can find is that it's illegal at 10 to have an account. Nice.

I'm pretty sure the Elementary School in McCleary is under construction. I wonder if the police have questioned any of the workers to find out if its possible for one to have snatched Lindsey. The school has been under construction since January. Lindsey went missing in late June. That's a long time for a stranger to get pretty familiar to such a small town and it's residents. A person in that situation, working at a temporary construction site, would never need to look back once their job was done. And a person seen around town, may even be trusted by some of the residents, and would never cause alarm when driving down the streets, or pulling over to speak to someone.
I hope the police have spoken to every single one of them, and ruled them all out as suspects.
