I prefer if they called it the Ronald Reagan High School or if Donald Trump razed it to build more high-rise condos.

"This new K-12 learning center will educate and empower our young people and their parents to fight for economic and social justice."

Noble, but how does this help equip young people to compete with Asians and Europeans in professional fields?

"We are inspired by the memory of Senator Kennedy who reminds us every day that we each have something to contribute," Garcia said. "And he reminds us every day that we can absolutely do better."
Good, I'll be watching to see if anything like this happens. Not too much luck so far in L.A.

The Ambassador hotel was an asbestos laden waste of space except for film companies who kept it alive ...If anyone really cares about RFK they should be glad its torn down and something good came out of a bad piece of history..

Well, Los Angeles better get ready for more people traffic in the Wilshire/Mariposa/Normandie Ave area because this school is going to hold a large capacity of students. Has anyone seen how large this school is? Its huge! The area that the school is in is already a traffic nightmare around rushhour so this is going to be a real treat for anyone who travels through that neighborhood.

I will miss the old Ambassador Hotel. So many memories there for so many.
However the schools will be a great addition....My only hope the schools will
have some excellent teachers who take great interest in the students.
In addition, Robert Kennedy will be remembered for a long long tiime.

How well I remember that horrible -terrible night Bobby Kennedy was
gunned down.

To the schools, good luck!!!!

Jeanette, I too will miss the old Ambassador Hotel. I bought my stamps and mailed packages in the little Post Office. I shopped in the stores there. When the door was open I would go into the big hall where RKF was shot!
