Cigarette blamed in Dew Drop Inn fire
A fire caused major damage to the Dew Drop Inn Thursday morning. Around 1:30 a.m., Matamoras firefighters were called to a report of a big fire in the bar on Avenue C. Chief Thomas Long, who lives about a half-block away, was the first on the scene.
