A registered sex offender who pleaded guilty in March to charges that he videotaped women at a Southampton Village swimsuit show in July 2012, will be sentenced to jail time on Wednesday, Suffolk County District Attorney Thomas Spota said late Tuesday night.

A 15-student team from the Mastic Beach school beat Our Lady of Mercy Academy in Syosset last month to win the 2013 Long Island Regional Championship at the Suffolk County Courthouse in Central Islip.

A motorcyclist was killed Thursday evening when he crashed into a car that was backing up into a home's driveway in Mastic Beach, Suffolk police said.
