A Centerburg man was indicted by the Knox County grand jury on Monday after allegedly striking his wife with a machete earlier this month.

COSHOCTON -- Auctioneer Scott Olds enjoys using his skills to help people in need through benefit auctions.

The public is invited to this free event where people can meet and talk with representatives from different organizations involved in conservation efforts in the area and around Ohio.

Speaking to the Knox County Board of Commissioners on Thursday, Knox County Health Commissioner Julie Miller said the department has been "busy." Mosquito spraying continues throughout the county, and, since rabies has been confirmed in one bat in the county, residents have been bringing in other bats to be tested.

Michael Collins was acquitted of murder and manslaughter charges in July, but he will still be going to prison for seven years on the two charges for which he was convicted.
