Businessman to "No Alcohol" Crowd: I'll provide jobs. How about you?

Did anyone read the letter to ed today from the lady who has decided to change her VOTE to NO just because some juvenile vandalized the vote no signs. What kind of logic is that.....

When and if someone vandalizes some VOTE YES signs, whats she gonna do then- switch her vote back to yes. Whoa.

The vandalizing of the signs was a childish thing to do and probably did more harm to their cause than good. I am going to vote YES on June 24th, but this kind of juvenile behavior shows just how stupid some people are.

Voters in Marion approved both the sale of beer and mixed drinks for restaurants in the city limits. Today's unofficial total was 481 for the sale of beer and 425 against it; and 482 for the sale of mixed drinks and 425 against it. Election officials said both beer and mixed drinks got higher vote totals in early voting as well.

Marion isn't going to grow... period! unless real jobs come here like factories,or big corporations. Which we know isn't going to happen. Marion used to have more places to work like some of the furniture factories that closed up shop.
