Flagler County Commission to discuss legislative priorities for coming year

Whitney Lab breaks ground on sea turtle center

The plot of land doesn't look like much now, but soon an area across from the Whitney Laboratory for Marine Biosciences' Center for Marine Studies will be home to a state-of-the-art sea turtle hospital. Whitney Lab officials, along with more than 100 residents and well-wishers, kicked off the next phase of the project with a ceremonial groundbreaking on Saturday.
