Priest Accused of Sex Charges

I knew that this man was up to something and had forbidden my children to have any contact with him. I'm glad I listened to my mothers intuition. I feel so bad for the victims and their families.

Maybe this priest is guilty, but in some casas I think their is a witch hunt on priests.

good there should be, how sad it is you can't even trust a priest if it were one of your children or a family friends child would you feel differently

If it's a criminal matter then the police and the legal system should look after it.
..... A lawyer could perhaps start a class action suit seeking fair compensation for (whatever).
.... The religious authorities should be held fully responsible if after that any such person that was actually proven to be guilty of such charges they do not either expel him/her or move him/her to a job which does not entail contact with potential future victims.

Th church officials just move them from diocese to diocese to cover up for their heavenly priests.

Howard Hubbard should have been removed years ago. The catholic bishop, priests, etc think they are God and can do whatever they please. What a joke.

Well, since the Christians created the witch hunts in the first place...

I just wanted to say that usually a person is innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. I realize this person has been judged and onvicted without a trial .He has voluntarily given himself up to straighten this matter out. He should be given a reasonable doubt. This priest has done so much for this parish in taking them to Australia New york city trips and that's all forgotten. How about taking care of 3 parishes.
Let he who be without sin cast the first stone.
I also pray for his innocence and safe return.

It's hard to give 'reasonable doubt' when the church's typical reaction is to just relllocate the offending priest to another parrish.

The question that disturbs me is, do these people join the priesthood to become intimate with boys or are we supposed to assume that it just happened in a "weak" momemt?!!! one or two incidents, maybe. But how many have to happen before a pattern is acknokledged?
