Arrest made in Accomack Co. concerning June murder

According to Sheriff Todd Godwin in Accomack County, an arrest has been made in the death of a man from June 24. 39-year-old Fardale Antonio Johnson, of Mappsville, died as a result of a gunshot wound, and an investigation was started following a report of gunshots being fired between the occupants of two cars driving on Lankford Highway near Mappsville. Officials say that Johnson was eventually found on Nathanial Street in Mappsville, where he was pronounced dead.
