Grennan scores Riverhead Truck Checkers, Albasini notches championship

Danny Grennan of Glen Cove drove to his second victory of the 2009 Super Pro truck season at Riverhead Raceway Saturday evening, but it would be "The King Of Queens" Mike Albasini of Flushing who would earn his first career championship in the class.

Former theater students honor longtime Eastport South Manor teacher with garden

Chris Rizzo, now 33 and an employee of Otis Ford in Quogue, fondly recalls the long theater rehearsals and working behind the scenes for plays, such as "Wait Until Dark" and "Fools," at what was then the South Manor Dayton Avenue School in the early 1990s.

Teen abducted in Manorville by men in pickup truck

A 15-year-old girl told police she was abducted at knifepoint in Manorville on Monday afternoon by two men in a red pickup truck, and driven around for about an hour as one of the abductors demanded sex.
