PRINCESS ANNE -- John L. Ent, 84, of Princess Anne died Sunday, Dec. 13, 2009, at Coastal Hospice at the Lake in Salisbury.

Scott Tawes gets his money back -- the whole $366.47. Somerset County Commissioners voted last week to give it to him, an apparent open-and-shut case on the 2-acre piece of no man's land on Millard Long Road near Manokin that Tawes bought at a county land auction in June only to discover it's nowhere to be found.

MANOKIN -- Viola Georgia 'Granny Vi' Cotton, daughter of the late Pauline Waters and Romeo Dickerson, was born July 13, 1932, in Manokin and departed this life Tuesday, Sept.

PRINCESS ANNE , Md.- A former Manokin man convicted of murdering a Crisfield woman was sentenced to a total of 60 years in prison Monday by a Somerset County Circuit Court judge.

A North Carolina man will spend 60 years behind bars for a Manokin woman's murder.
