If this plant is to benefit Clay County, I wonder why they went out of the county, or state, to hire the people to do the excavating work. There are a lot of people in Clay County with equipment that do this kind of work for a living. Why wasn't this bid on, and why did they already have that work contracted before they actually purchased the property? All I know is what I read in the Manchester paper this week. Something seems fishy about it. Will the out of town people be the ones that get first shot at the jobs when they become available. Will an out of town company do the building? Just something to think about.

BRAVO CARMEN, for bringing in the jobs. This is a big step for this county. It will help some families prosper out of poverty and help some families save for retirement.

I think that this is wonderful. It is high time that Manchester gets an opportunity to let the people have decent jobs without having to go outside the county. I am sure that as with the prison, people will be needing places to live and that will further benifit the county.

Where will it be located? In order to employ 1,400 it will have to be a huge place. When you factor in an area for the buildings, roads to get to it, and parking areas, it would have to be a big piece of property.

Before they brought that land to fix that stink on they should of ask the people who live over there about what they thought about it why couldn't they have build it somewhere else?

Well i guess the best thing for you to do is to get off the damn durgs and act like a person instead of an ass hole and possibly will get a job ,,,,, if that is what you really want ,,, and as for you other people of clay clay ,,, if you really want to work you could find a job but maybe not paying as much as what WNT will be paying ,,, You should be happy that we are getting this and possily could get a job working there ,,, have we not waited long enough for something like this to come to our county ,,, we were always griping and complaining about no jobs here and now all we can do and still complain about this coming ,,, i mean get real people this an opportunity for clay county to grow and where people can have more than what they have ever had or thought they would ever have unless they worked theirselves to death in the coal mines ,,, which that is how that we was raised ,,, i know that alot of you get checks each month and some of you really deserve these but there is alot of you that could work and have more instead of depending on these checks,,, and for those of you that really do want to work and have more GOOD LUCK TO YOU ,,, i hope that you get a job with WNT

Daily Horoscope for December 22

Pisces

You're lacking in energy and resources today, which will soon slow you down and make you feel as though you're wading through treacle. The only way to cope is to have as many breaks as possible, and not to set yourself impossible goals that you could never hope to meet. You're also very susceptible to the criticisms or put-downs of others, but do your best to ignore them.
