ZANESVILLE: Lillian Louise Wisecarver, 84, of Zanesville, passed away at 8:38 a.m. Wednesday, December 2, 2009 at Good Samaritan Medical Center E. R. She was born August 6, 1925 at Zanesville, Ohio and resided with her daughter Sue Mercer.

CHESTERHILL: Donna Mae Van Ness King, 81, of Chesterhill, died Tuesday, November 24, 2009 at 3:25 a.m. at the Genesis Health and Rehab in McConnelsville.

CORNING: Edward R. Hern, 79, passed away Wednesday, November 11, 2009. He was born March 24, 1934 in Corning.

A soup and sandwich supper will be held from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Stockport United Methodist Church.

MALTA -- While the U.S. Congress debates health care reform in Washington, D.C., plans already are in place to greatly reform health care in Morgan County with the construction of a new Muskingum Valley Health Center building on Main Street in Malta.

MCCONNELSVILLE: Edna Lyon Dawson 81, of 43 N. 9th Street McConnelsville, formerly of Stockport passed away at 11:30 p.m. November 4, 2009 at her son's home near Pennsville.
