Arrest warrants have been issued for Thomas L. Coke, 52, of Malta Bend, and his son, Kelly T. Coke, 24, of Marshall, in connection with a traffic stop Saturday, July 4, in Marshall.

A Waverly teen was arrested Saturday, July 4, and charged with three felonies in connection with a string of mailbox explosions in northern Saline County.

Sarah A. Stout, 18, of Stover, was charged Thursday, June 18, with class A misdemeanor resisting arrest in connection with an incident at a Malta Bend residence the previous day.

A Marshall woman was arrested early Wednesday, June 17, on suspicion of resisting arrest and assaulting a law enforcement officer, according to a Saline County Sheriff's Department report.

Laura J. Riley, 38, of Malta Bend, was charged with class B misdemeanor driving while intoxicated and class A misdemeanor second-degree endangering the welfare of a child, following a report from a local restaurant that an intoxicated driver had passed through its drive-in and had been observed going back out on College Street.
