That's what Robbie fought for, freedom. Unfortunately even the freedom to be an ass. He loved the USA and believed in the freedom to even be ignorant. That is what separates the Honor from the Disgraced. Each play a part in this nation's history. Robbie's name will be engraved and honored by people who may not have known him on this earth, but by his deeds. rattlecattle and those like him will simply be forgotten. Thank you America for your decency and kindness for this Hero that I loved so much. You, rattlecattle, may return to your dark side and stay there, forgotten.

While I agree with your main point, that innocent people have died, you are completely wrong to disrespect the soldiers. They are doing the job they are trained to do, as best they can.
The problem with innocent people dying, lies far up the chain of command than the soldiers. Ultimately, we are responsible, because we elected those who sent our troops into combat.
This soldier died in Afghanistan. If the previous administration had not been so gung-ho about Saddam Hussein, we would have finished our job with the Taliban and Al Quada and our troops would be home now, and our soldiers and innocent civilians would not be dying daily.
WRONG AGAIN.....Do you actually think we would have been FINISHED with the Taliban and Al Queda?

These zealots and crazies will never give up....the question is are we making them stronger......it looks like we are.

Can we kill them all without becoming the greater EVIl?

Yes, I do believe we would have been done with the Taliban and Al Quada. We were well on the way to defeating the Taliban when we pulled out. This allowed Bin Laden to escape to the rugged safety of the Afghan-Pakistani border. Where he probably still is.

But instead we went to Iraq and started country building, something a military is not equipped to do, unless they stay and rule by force, which was what the former chicken hawks wanted for their business friend.

We were supposed to be there to elimanate or capture Bin Laden. The Taliban became an enemy because they provided a safe haven for him. That is all we needed to take care of, not installing a new government in either Iraq or Afghanistan. The war moguls wanted perpetual war and apparently they are going to have it for at least a while longer.

Do you actually think it would matter if we Got Osama Bin Laden?

As long as our troops are in THEIR COUNTRY we will be at war.

They have every right to kick our stupid forces out on their ass.

The sick arrogant USA does NOT own the whole world....we are a broke pathetic nation living on credit and lies.

I agree that as long as we are over there we are providing breeding grounds for terrorists.

I am saying if we would have done what we were supposed to do, got Bin Laden and got the hell out, this crap wouldn't still be going on.

We never belonged in Iraq and if we would have stayed out and concentrated on what our objective was, it would have been achieved and the Afghanis could be happily making poppy for the world without us. The Taliban would have took back over but we would be out.

We have no business country building around the world.

Take a minute to remember all the innocent people our military monsters have killed.

Millions....from carpet bombings, nukes, naplam, chemicals, missles.

Do not give me this shit about our military being anything other than trained killers..that is what they are.
I hope

My first reaction to some of these post was utter disgust that some would turn a site about this man I loved so dear into some political/self-opinions circus forum. Then a peace that could only have come from above hit me that spoke,"It is ok." The more I thought about it, the more that I realize that if our enemies win, NOBODY will be allowed to voice any of their feelings. Thank you Robbie for fighting to keep it. Thank you to all the other brave soldiers who will pick up that flag and continue to protect us. Like it or not, some folks want to take these rights away from us. So go on and talk, talk, talk. Even you cattlerattle! This is becoming a testimony to all our soldiers! Everyone join in, live and love the freedoms! It's going to be ok. As long as we can do THIS, we are ok.

The heart of the USA is UGLY and GREEDY and LOSING its current wars as it DESERVES
Well we notice that you still grace our presence with your "freedom of expression". These war mongers fought for the rights of your sorry ass and refrained from tucking their tails between their legs to defect to some of those less war mongering countries. You probably cheered when 9-11 occured. When we loose our freedom you'll sing a different tune. Robbie was more of a man at 22 than older draft dogers who were too chicken to do their duty.

Ive been reading your comments and honestly, you make me sick. If you are that hard headed and believe that you have all the answers then please, write a letter to someone that matters instead of voicing your wacked out opnion on topix. I am one of those "military monsters" as you put it and im damn proud to be serving our GREAT country. If you have that big of a problem with our country and how its run you shoud consider moving....or walking into traffic...either way that will be one less piece of trash that our troops are defending.
God bless this family.

to all of you who have voiced your feelings on the war that Robbie gave his live fighting
Robbie like many gave his life for something he truly believed in
He was a true hero
like many he fought to keep the rights we have as Americans
He fought for not just 1 but for all the rights as Americans we have
He believed as I believe that it was right for him to answer the call of duty to his country
and it was his country just as it is mine and yours
If you believe he died in vain and shouldn't have been there, then since he can't be there any longer I suggest you volunteer to go take his place,
you senseless people who don't give a rip about our country called America go to Iraq, go Afghanistan, go to one of the war torn countries that the American men and women are fighting to defend and take the place of one of the true red blooded Americans who have or are fighting the war
go and allow one of the red blooded Americans who are fighting for you,to his home and enjoy the freedoms we have
May Robbies family know they,Denise,Joe and Adam are in my thoughts and prayers
and to you Robbie i salute you
you truly were a hero

Dear Idiots,

I am sure Robbie was a nice guy....BUT....he is not a red blooded american anymore, he no longer exists. He blew his life out following the foolish illusions of a country that is ridiculous.

He is dead, not fallen and unfortunately he wasted his life on a war that means NOTHNG in the long run.

So wave that stupid FLAG all ya want....it means nothing when the bullet hits ot the IED blows up.

Maybe when our foolish forces finally get thrown out of those countries the death will stop.

The USA is a sick arrogant nation and cannot occupy the whole world.

Our troops would be HEROIC when they stop following orders of ignorant politicians.

We will lose these wars...the only question is when.

So wave that stupid flag and keep sending your kiddies to die for nothing if you want.....stupidity is not Patriotism.

You idiots do not even know..what Patriotism is!

It looks like technology has changed since other wars and the Taliban can now come into our hometown forums to spread their propaganda. Welcome cattlerattle to our hometown forum and I hope our military visits your camp soon. You will not defeat us, not as long as the land of the FREE and home of the Brave still stands. Your fear is shining through all your hate, coward's fear, that is all it is. Keep crying. May all your virgins be beautiful in your paradise, because America will not leave you with your jewels to do anything with them anyway!

Daily Horoscope for December 29

Cancer

Be careful today Cancer, because your emotions could cloud certain issues as they often to and leave you feeling confused. You should be especially wary of believing what you want to believe, rather than believing the evidence in front of your eyes. It's easy to kid yourself now about someone's motives or reliability, even if deep down you know that you're telling yourself a load of old twaddle.
