Afternoon police beat update includes stolen tools

n Carolyn Jacobs, 48, of the 400 block of East Avenue was charged with hindering apprehension for giving a false name, issued a summons for driving while her privilege is suspended at Boulevard and Foster Avenue and served warrants for failure to appear in Vineland, Deptford Township and Hamilton Township Municipal Courts. n Richard Pierce, 34, of West Montrose Street was held on $2,846 bail on warrants from Vineland and Millville Municipal Courts. n David H. Cassaday, 27, of West Boulevard, Malaga was jailed on two warrants from Millville Municipal Court and a warrant from Washington Township Municipal Court. n Gary R. Bryant, 45, of Delsea Woods mobile home park, College Drive was held on a no-bail warrant charging him with violation of parole. n Ethan D. Chambliss, 24, of the 800 block of North Mill Road was held on $29,047 bail on three warrants from Cumberland County Superior Court and served warrants for failure to appear in Vineland and Deerfield Township Municipal Court. n Tools valued at $525 were stolen from a garage in the 100 block of North Orchard Road. n Someone stole a $600 brass pressure pump attached to a sprinkler system at Homiak Transport in the 3500 block of North Mill Road. n Wendy J. Bell, 38, of the 800 block of Sawyer Avenue was charged with careless driving and leaving the scene of an accident at Valley Avenue and Chelsea Way Thursday. n Shane N. Fiorani, 19, of Rosenhayn Avenue, Bridgeton received a careless driving summons when his car collided with a Jeep wagon operated by Michael Kemenash, 62, of the 1500 block of East Wheat Road Wednesday night at Main Road and Maple Avenue. The Kemenash vehicle overturned several times and came to rest on its wheels. It was unclear if anyone was injured. n Deborah J. Dunn, 55, of the 500 block of Columbia Avenue, Millville was charged with driving without insurance, careless driving, leaving the scene and failure to report an accident Tuesday at Main Road and Sherman Avenue. n Damian Russo, 48, of the 900 block of South Brewster Road received a careless driving ticket after his vehicle struck the rear of a car driven by Dolores A. Potere, 51, of the 700 block of Brentwood Drive at Lincoln Avenue and Brewster Road Monday. n Jameelah A. Ball, 28, of Delsea Village Apartments, South 2nd Street was charged with obstruction and served a warrant for failure to appear in Vineland Municipal Court. n Orlando H. Smack III, 37, of Village Apartments, 890 East Walnut Road, Vineland was charged with possession of marijuana at 3rd Street and Railroad Avenue Thursday. n Jamar P. Smith, 19, of the 300 block of East Broad Street was served a warrant for failure to appear in Millville Municipal Court. n Romeo J. Alessio III, 23, of the 800 block of Weymouth Road, Vineland was served two warrants for failure to appear in Woolrich Township Municipal Court. n Jahan R. Colon, 22, and Jose I, Mercado, 25, of the 400 block of North 2nd Street were charged with hindering apprehension and obstruction. n Someone stole two gasoline cans containing a total of six gallons and a $300 boat prop from the 600 block of West Buckshutem Road. n Two unidentified men ran away when a resident of the 2400 block of Mistletoe Lane saw them near his shed and yelled at them at 1 a.m. Friday.
