Hidalgo County to face strip-search suit of its own
“Nothing in the named plaintiff's histories, nor the circumstances of their arrests, gave defendants reasonable suspicion that a strip search of the named plaintiffs would result in the discovery of contraband or weapons”
Hidalgo County has joined at least two other New Mexico counties in facing civil lawsuits for their jail's strip-search policies. via Silver City Sun-News
