Some students at Madison Elementary School in Davenport are going to have to retake state standardized tests after an investigation into erasure marks on several of the answer pages.

The community is stepping up in support of Webster Animal Shelter, the city-run shelter that opened in January in the building on Post Oak Road once occupied by the Madison Ark.

St. Cloud's school board approved the plan tonight to move Madison Elementary School's fourth-graders to go to North Junior High School as fifth-graders. The change is a short-term option to help relieve overcrowding at the school until a long-term decision is made.
