When the Ohio Department of Transportation decided to retool the state Route 8-Interstate 271 interchange, a major goal was to relieve traffic congestion at nearby Highland Road.

Beginning Tuesday night, July 28, through early Friday morning, Aug. 7, from approximately 7 p.m. until 6 a.m., Interstate 271 from state Route 82 to south of state Route 8 will be reduced to one lane in the southbound direction for milling and paving work.

Macedonia Police, assisted by Summit County Sheriff's deputies, Boston Heights and Northfield officers nabbed two men and a juvenile at 12:48 a.m. July 2 in connection with an armed robbery outside Cinemark Theater on Macdonia Commons Boulevard in Macedonia.
