Final Fire Update: The Tennant Fire is now one hundred percent contained. Firefighters have completed fire line all the way around the 3,225 acre fire perimeter and continue to patrol and extinguish hot spots within the line.

The fire is currently holding within containment lines and fire managers do not expect the fire to grow beyond the current burned acres.

NorCal Team II is managing the Tennant Fire for the Klamath NF. The fire, which started on Sunday afternoon, July 19, and is burning approximately 7 miles south of Macdoel, California.

Highway 97 has reopened between Macdoel and Weed, after being closed for most of the past day because of a wildfire.
