Wesley House preschool cares for kids and helps parents
Kayla Walker, a 27-year-old single mother who works at UPS and lives in Okolona, takes her two youngest children each weekday to Wesley House Community Services on Preston Highway, where they attend preschool.
Lynnview veteran, 84, contributed his memories of World War II to exhibit
World War II veteran Gerald Weber of Lynnview is among four dozen people from Kentucky and Southern Indiana who have shared their experiences during the war for a new exhibit at the Frazier International History Museum called "WWII: 48 Local Stories That Changed the World." It opened Saturday and runs through March 28.
