Developer pitches $75M project for downtown Lynbrook

A Long Island developer is proposing to build a transit-oriented apartment complex in Lynbrook as part of a $75 million project that also donates a new parking garage and park to the village. The unique proposal from Farmingdale-based Terwilliger & Bartone Properties would bring 200 rental apartments to a nearly 2-acre parcel on the southwest corner of Earle Avenue and St. James Place, just two blocks from the Lynbrook Long Island Rail Road station.
