LYMAN, Neb. - A rural postal carrier helped save the life of an 84-year-old woman Saturday who lay on her porch with a broken hip for nearly 20 hours with only her dog for warmth.

Irene F. Petzold, 95, of Sun City, Ariz., died Tuesday, July 29, 2008, at Surprise, Ariz.
