Lula breaks ground on new waste water treatment plant
It was shovels to the ground Friday for a group of state and local leaders as they marked the beginning of construction on the City of Lula's Waste Water Treatment Plant.
A sewage spill in Lula is blamed on Monday's heavy rains. It amounted to about 1,600 gallons, according to city officials, and happened at the McLeod/Hood Street Pump Station.
