Families and friends attend Lost Spring monument relocation
More than 200 people attended the Friday relocation of the Old Lost Spring Station monument, 21 2 miles west of Lost Springs.

Historic Lost Springs monument to be moved July 3
Steve Schmidt, president of Cottonwood Crossing Chapter of the Santa Fe Trail Association, recently announced the Lost Spring monument at the historic site west of Lost Springs will be moved July 3 to a new site across the road.

Thomas Reznicek Sr. and his wife Antonia did not realize what they had found in 1924 when they bought a half-section farm one mile west of Lost Springs.
