It must be that murders are being reclassified as accidents and sucides. Political aspirations are tied to these crime figures

This is one of those good news/bad news things.

The good news is the dip in homicides.

The bad news is that Bratton, Villaraigosa, and the Council Deadbeats will break their arms patting each other and themselves on their backs for having done such a stellar job in making LA safer.

There is bad news, though, for the city hall denizens. Now it may be harder to sell their increase in trash fees for more cops proposal. Their good news is the wonderful job they have all done and how good it makes them appear.

I just hope the mayor and the chief don't get hurt knocking each other aside to hog the TV cameras. I hate to see anyone get injured.
